Storms ending into the overnight
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A Milwaukee County Transit System bus driver is being praised for helping a woman in a wheelchair get home safe.
MCTS says driver Beau Wilhelm spotted the woman riding her motorized wheelchair in a busy street. Wilhelm said she couldn’t ride on the sidewalk because of snow and ice.
In bus surveillance video, Wilhelm is seen stopping the bus and asking the woman if she wants a ride.
He then takes the Christmas wrapping paper she was carrying and puts it on the bus before helping her get on.
Wilhelm drove the woman to her home down the road and helped her get off the bus. Other riders took notice and commented to Wilhelm about his gracious actions.
