MCSO responds to 13 winter weather related calls in 6 hours

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office deputies have responded to 13 winter weather related service calls between 3 a.m., and 9 a.m. Sunday. Jan. 24.

Officials say 10 of those calls were vehicle property damage crashes. Three of the calls were related to disabled vehicles.

"We remind the motoring public to drive for road conditions," MCSO tweeted on Sunday.

The steady snow tapered off across most of southeast Wisconsin early Sunday.

We'll still have a few lingering flurries and potentially some patchy freezing drizzle through noon, but the accumulating snow is done for Sunday.

Roads are still snow covered and rather slick so travel with caution.
