MCSO: 31-year-old man killed in motorcycle accident near Marquette Interchange

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Authorities say a 31-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident near the Marquette Interchange Friday, Sept. 4.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office responded to a motorcycle-vehicle crash northbound on I-43 near W. State Street around 12:37 a.m.
The motorcycle operator, identified as Nicholas Beshensky, was pronounced dead at the scene.
MCSO says a preliminary investigation indicates that a mid-size car was traveling northbound on I-43 when it was struck in the rear by the motorcycle, which was traveling at a high rate of speed.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
A full northbound freeway closure of I-43 at the Marquette Interchange was initiated around 12:57 a.m. The freeway was reopened at 4:50 a.m.
