Death of 10-month-old baby under investigation

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The Milwaukee Police Department says it is investigating the death of a 10-month-old baby girl.

Authorities were called to the area near 95^th and Brown Deer Rd. around 5:15 a.m.

Police say the child was found unresponsive and life-saving measures were attempted by citizens and the fire department but were unsuccessful.

An investigation into the death is ongoing.

MCMEO was called to the area near 95^th and Brown Deer Rd. to investigate.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
