McKinley Beach is ready to be rebuilt

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Construction equipment has arrived at Milwaukee's McKinley Beach. It closed in 2020 after several drownings.

Last summer, the county board voted to use more than $700,000 to reconstruct the beach, returning it to its original design.

Officials said this will create much safer conditions.
