GREEN BAY - Mike McCarthy didn't even let a quarterback controversy begin to stir after Seneca Wallace's injury Sunday afternoon in Green Bay.
Speaking minutes after the Packers' 27-13 loss to the Eagles, McCarthy named Scott Tolzien the Pack's starting quarterback for next Sunday's game against the New York Giants.
Tolzien, a former Badgers starting quarterback, came on in relief of Wallace after the Packers' first offensive series Sunday and threw for 280 yards and a touchdown, with two interceptions. It was the first regular season action of Tolzien's professional career.
Aaron Rodgers has a small fracture in his collarbone and is likely to miss several more weeks.
