DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 21-year-old man died after falling from a rocky ledge while visiting Ledge County Park in Dodge County, authorities report.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says the man, identified as Felix Mata Eusebio of Mayville, was walking in the park with two companions when he stopped to take a photo and lost his footing.

It took place Saturday, June 14 at around 12:30 p.m.

Emergency crews found Eusebio unresponsive with a serious head injury and attempted resuscitation, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. The fall was estimated at more than 40 feet.

Investigators believe alcohol use was a factor.

The Dodge County Medical Examiner’s Office is assisting in the investigation, which is ongoing.
