MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Earlier Friday, Feb. 5, CBS 58 got an inside look at a new hotspot in downtown Milwaukee.
Mayor Cavalier Johnson was on site touring Draft and Company - a new bar and restaurant located in the Vel R. Phillips Plaza.
The restaurant soft launched in the middle of January, and it's just the latest development in the Vel R. Phillips Plaza along Wisconsin Avenue, an area that Mayor Johnson and other city leaders are focusing on expanding.
"This means continued transformation west of the river in downtown Milwaukee,' said Mayor Johnson. "There's so many great things that are happening west of the river and this continues that momentum."
Draft and Company specializes in smash burgers and they also feature a growing list of over 30 different types of draft beers.
