Mayor Announces DPW Using Discretion for Winter Parking Regulation Violations

Mayor Tom Barrett and Department of Public Works Commissioner Ghassan Korban announced on Tuesday that DPW Parking Services Ambassadors will use discretion in issuing citations for winter parking regulation violations.

Due to the mild winter, the considerations begin December 22 and last through December 31.

Alternate side overnight parking rules are still in effect, except in the 5-Day Exception Parking Area for parts of Downtown and East Side.
