MATC celebrates graduation day with virtual ceremony

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It's graduation day Friday, July 24, for graduates of Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC). The evening's spring/summer commencement will be a virtual event. 

Around 1,000 students will receive degrees. 

Each student has been asked to upload photos or video messages to be part of the program. 

Keynote speakers include Lieutenant Gov. Mandela Barnes. 

The commencement will be available Friday night through MATC's website. It will also air on Milwaukee PBS Saturday, July 25, and Sunday afternoon, July 26.
