Masterlock has unlocked its brand new corporate headquarters in Oak Creek this morning.
The new headquarters is located in a renovated building once home to Caterpillar's global mining division on South Howell Ave.
It includes new workspaces and technology for its 400 employees.
Masterlock's president says it was a priority to keep the headquarters in the area.
"What kept us here is our roots, our heritage, and the talent that we find in this area. We're born and raised in the midwest the company is, I am and we find it fits our values and our culture," said President Mike Bauer.
The company says there's room for about 80 new employees at the facility and they plan to expand their workforce over the next several years.
