Marquette hosts Fiserv Forum open house August 29

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Marquette University is letting its fans see Fiserv Forum.

The men's basketball team will host an open house on Wednesday, August 29 from 4-8 p.m. Fans can tour the arena, including the locker room and hospitality areas.

"We have the best arena in the country and it has all the shiny new tools. The thing I'm as excited about as anything is the environment we will be able to create in the arena. This is an arena that was built for basketball. It's very intimate. I think the fans will be able to feel a part of the game. I think our players will be able to feed off the fans and I think that is going to be a step up from where we came from," said Marquette Head Coach Steve Wojciechowski.

Fiserv Forum opened to the public Sunday with a ribbon cutting, block party, and an open house.
