Marquette coach Shaka Smart supports Justin Lewis exploring his options

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Marquette will be bringing in three players next year, all with four years of eligibility.

Of course, the biggest piece of the roster, Justin Lewis, is testing the NBA waters.

The conference's Most Improved Player led Marquette in scoring and was named All Big East First Team.

Lewis can choose to decide to return to Marquette if he doesn't like what he hears.

Shaka Smart says his only role is to support Justin throughout the process.

"He's grown in all the elements of character and competitive character that go into being a full fledged adult," said Smart on Lewis. As it relates to this process, it's about going after it and making sure that he gets his body ready and he gets his game where he wants it to be so he can show the best version of himself."
