MANITOWOC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Manitowoc woman could face several counts of child abuse so gruesome that officials say one child wished for death.
According to a probable cause statement, five children were under the care of Kimberly Howell at Trails End Park in Manitowoc where the alleged abuse took place.
The statement says one of the children described wishing they would die so the abuse would end because Howell would beat them so severely.
The child also described attempting suicide by drug overdose.
Howell has denied several accusations of physical abuse, including telling the children to beat another child.
