MANITOWOC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Business owners in Manitowoc are facing backlash for a Facebook photo with one of them holding a noose.
The caption read, "It really is a garage door pull," which seems to reference an incident involving Nascar driver Bubba Wallace.
Brennan Seehafer, one of the men in the photo, says he didn't know about the noose when the picture was being taken.
He says he now plans to meet with local Black Lives Matter activists and have a mural painted on his business.
"I'm on board 100-percent," Seehafer said. "Not just this week, not just next week, but months from now as well, to continue to grow awareness for this."
Seehafer said he hasn't been in contact with the other men in the photo since.
One of the others in the photo, who owns an orthodontist clinic, has since apologized for the incident.
