Finding the gun thief who threatened to shoot up schools was costly for the Rock County Sheriff's Officer and Janesville Police.
CBS 58 News has obtained records that show the ten day manhunt for Joseph Jakubowski cost some $128,000 dollar in overtime.
Jakubowski was apprehended without injury and remains in custody facing both state and federal charges.
He's scheduled to be back in a Rock County courtroom next month.
A retired school therapist from Muskego found Jakubowski squatting, under a tarp, on his property in Vernon County.
The therapist kept his cool and spoke with the stranger before then retreating and calling police.
Special Agent Leonard Peace of the FBI says the reward has not yet been given out.
Even when it is, the FBI will not identify the recipient.
