Man Wounded in Drive-by Shooting

An apparent drive-by shooting in Milwaukee Monday night has sent a  19-year-old man to the hospital.   According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the man was walking with a group of people in the area of N 35th Street and W Silver Spring Drive around 9:25 PM Monday, when a vehicle drove past and a passenger in the car fired several gunshots at the group.  The 19-year-old was struck at least once by the gunfire.  Police Officers and the Milwaukee Fire Department treated the victim at the scene and then transported him to a local hospital.  The man is expected to survive his injury.  The MPD is seeking a suspect or suspects in the case.
