Willie Greer died in an arson fire where police say a woman was caught on camera setting his home in flames.
Although he may have lost his life in this tragic incident, the family says he will forever live in their hearts.
Family and friends remember Greer as a loving father, friend, and relative.
They say they will always remember his passion for sports and his love for the Packers and Brewers.
He also enjoyed western movies.
Loved ones say his smile, personality and sense of humor were unlike any other.
While the family says the loss has been heart breaking, they have a message for the woman seen in the Facebook live video and accused of the arson.
“I personally forgive her,” says Otis Greer, son of Willie. “I don’t accept and condone the behavior that she did but at the end of the day we have to forgive and move forward.”
The family also thanks the community for their support and donations through their Gofundme page.
When asked what they thought would be a proper form of punishment in this case, the family says they are leaving it all in the hands of the justice system.
