A 14-year-old was shot in Milwaukee after allegedly being in a stolen vehicle.

Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting that happened on Monday around 10:55 a.m. in the 8100 block of W. Florist Avenue. 

A 14-year old male victim from Milwaukee was inside of a stolen vehicle. 

The suspect, a 26- year old Milwaukee man recognized the stolen vehicle as belonging to a family member and attempted to take back the vehicle. 

As he did so, the 14-year old was shot.  He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a serious injury.  The suspect remained on scene and was arrested by police without incident.  The investigation is ongoing.
