Man struck and killed walking along Kenosha County highway Saturday morning

KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Kenosha County Sheriff's Office is identifying the victim as 51-year-old Jeffrey Etlicher.

Charges have not been filed against the driver of the car.

KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A man walking along a dark Kenosha County highway was struck and killed by a passing motorist early Saturday morning.   According to the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office, a 51-year-old man from Union Grove was walking along Kenosha CTH  H, about a quarter of a mile north of CTH S just before 3 AM, when he was struck by a north bound vehicle driven by a 31-year-old woman from Kenosha.   The victim died at the scene of the accident.  According to the Sheriff’s Office, the victim was wearing dark clothing and there are no street lights  along this section of highway.  

The driver of the car and her female passenger remained on the scene and are cooperating with the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office investigators.   Neither of the women were injured in the accident.

The name of the victim has not been released pending the notification of next of kin.
