Man shot near Main St. and North Ave. in Village of Reeseville

DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 26-year-old man is in stable condition following a shooting Thursday evening. 

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office says they were called to the scene near Main St. and North Ave. in the Village of Reeseville for reports of a shooting around 9:30 p.m. 

According to deputies, the victim was confronted by two white men in dark clothing. During the confrontation, the victim was shot, resulting in a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

The Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the shooting and asks that if anyone has information related to the incident, to contact the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office at 920-386-3726 and ask to speak with Detective Willmann or Detective Hopp.

No further information is able to be released at this time, as it is an active investigation.
