MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting that occurred near N. 36th St. and W. Burleigh St. around 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
According to police, an attempted robbery in the street lead to a 35-year-old male suffering a serious gunshot wound. The victim is being treated at a local hospital.
Two females were taken into custody near N. 38th St. and W. Burleigh St. in connection with the shooting.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
