Man shot during attempted robbery near night club

MILWAUKEE-- Milwaukee police are investigating after a man was shot during an attempted robbery near a night club.
Police were called out near Fond du Lac Ave and Concordia shortly after midnight Saturday.
A male and a female were confronted by two unknown male suspects who attempted to rob them.
A fight occurred and a 43-year-old male was injured.
He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries. He is expected to recover.
There is currently no suspect in custody.
The incident remains under investigation by the Milwaukee Police Department.
