Man shot during attempted robbery near 27th and Meinecke

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Milwaukee police say a 21-year-old man is expected to be okay after being shot on Thursday, Feb. 4 during an attempted robbery.
Authorities say it happened near 27th and Meinecke shortly before 1 a.m. The victim told police he was in the alley when another man tried to rob him and eventually shot him.
The 21-year-old was taken to a hospital to be treated.
MPD is searching for the suspect.
