Man killed in Brown Deer house fire identified as Ronnie Johnson

BROWN DEER -- The Brown Deer Police Department has confirmed the person killed in a Brown Deer house fire is former educator Ronnie Johnson.


The fire began shortly after 5:00 a.m. at Johnson's home near N. 63rd St and Brown Deer Road. Firefighters believes someone may have been trapped inside the home when they initially arrived. Johnson's body was found in the front room of the house.


Johnson is the former school principal accused of sexually assaulting three brothers over the course of 10 years. All three boys used to spend time at Johnson's house, and would even spend the night. Read our full report on these accusations.
