Man in custody following Feb. 15th sudden death of 14-year-old girl

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- According to the Milwaukee Police Department, a 34-year-old man has been arrested following the sudden death of a 14-year-old girl, Jada Wright. 

Milwaukee Police responded to a call near W. Northridge Lakes Blvd. and N. 75th St. around 12:30 a.m. on February 15. Wright was pronounced dead at the scene. Following an investigation, police say the death was determined as a homicide due to severe blunt force trauma. 

The man was taken into police custody on February 17 in connection with the homicide, and police said the investigation is ongoing.
