WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 68-year-old man is dead after investigators say he was thrown from his car in a crash, Wednesday afternoon.

It happened just after 1:15 p.m. on April 24 near Highway 33 and Nabob Drive in the Township of West Bend, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators say the man was driving eastbound on Highway 33 when another vehicle going westbound on Highway 33 tried to turn in front of him onto Nabob Drive, nearly causing a head-on collision. The man's vehicle then went into the ditch and rolled over, ejecting the driver.

The driver, a 68-year-old man from the Town of Addison, was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was able to get out of her own car and had minor injuries. Speed, weather, and road conditions are not believed to be factors in the crash.
