Man cited for open intoxicants inside vehicle after calling police to report steering wheel fell off

MUSKEGO, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 34-year-old Muskego man was cited for having open intoxicants inside a vehicle on Thursday.

Police were called out for a report of a disabled vehicle near Janesville Road and Providence Way around 7 p.m.

Officers made contact with the driver who told them that the wheel had fallen off the vehicle following a DIY brake job.

The driver was checked for levels of intoxication and cited for having open intoxicants inside the vehicle.
