Man cited for 4th OWI, also had concealed firearm and open intoxicants

Wisconsin State Patrol pulled over a motorist after he was observed to be driving under the influence near Crandon.

After further investigation and field sobriety testing, the man was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 4th offense, and possession of a concealed firearm. The man was also cited for failure to display a front license plate, failure to fasten seatbelt and open intoxicants. Finally, the man was issued a warning for not having his drivers license with him.

The suspect was identified as David J. Steinz, 53 years of age, from Crandon. He was pulled over on USH 8 at Hill St. near Crandon in Forest County for an equipment violation.
