RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Caledonia man has been charged with failing to report a death after a woman's body was found in a neighborhood in Franklin last November.
Police say 34-year-old Isabel Orosco of Milwaukee died of a drug overdose in Caledonia on November 7, 2017. Her body was then found in Franklin, up against a curb on Oakwood Road and 34th Street near Wheaton Hospital on November 8.
According to a criminal complaint, 57-year-old Wayne Slagle told investigators he found Orosco dead in the bathroom of his home on Saratoga Drive in Caledonia. He told police he put Orosco's body in his vehicle and blacked out.
The complaint says neither Slagle or Orosco called for help on November 7 or 8. It also says Slagle did not report Orosco's death to law enforcement, the medical examiner, or coroner as required by law.
