MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The man accused of causing a crash that killed a mother and her baby is ordered to stand trial.
22-year-old Reggie Gaston pleaded not guilty.
Milwaukee Police say he ran a red light at 35th and Capitol earlier this month, slamming into a car driven by Shakela Rhodes, killing the Milwaukee woman and her 11-month-old daughter.
Rhodes' family members attended today's hearing.
"She would have been 28-years-old and we miss her so much. We miss her so much. We're going to make sure this never happens to someone's family. We're going to make sure her name lives on," said Marilyn Copeland, the victim's aunt.
Rhodes' niece was seriously injured in the crash.
Gaston could face life in prison.
He'll be back in court later this month.
