The man behind the plan to bring back Midwest Airlines says he overwhelmed by the support he's received since posting the plan online.
Curt Drumm, President of Lakeshore Avidation in Manitowoc County, tells CBS 58's Michele McCormack 'Don't worry you'll get your chocolate chip cookie back."
Midwest sold to Republic about a decade ago and eventually became Frontier.
For more than 20 years, the carrier flew out of Mitchell International and was known for its quality customer service which included serving warm cookies.
A statement on the flymidwestexpress.com site says in part:
"We are currently finalizing our plans. If you'd like to be part of it, either as an investor or a member of our team, let us know. There's a contact form below. Or just follow our progress right here. We'll keep you posted."
Crumm is actively looking for investors and says he's working on a more public and detailed announcement.
Maybe as soon as next week, he will have more to say.
