Man arrested, wanted for numerous vehicle thefts and burglaries from vehicles throughout Wisconsin

A 41-year-old man was arrested in West Bend after operating a vehicle that was reported stolen out of Spring Green, Wisconsin.

The suspect was wanted by the Wisconsin department of Corrections for violation of his parole. 

The suspect also had previous arrests for Burglary, Auto Theft, and Armed Robbery. Investigators determined that the man had stolen three additional vehicles in Wisconsin. One was in Madison, one in La Crosse, and one in Peshtigo.

According to police, the suspect also had broken into numerous vehicles in parking lots of churches and businesses throughout Wisconsin. He allegedly stole purses, wallets, backpacks, and a handgun from the vehicles.

The handgun was stolen from a vehicle parked at a church in Oregon, Wisconsin.

The suspect was arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle without Owner's Consent, Felon in Possession of a Handgun, Possession of Stolen Property, Habitual Criminality, and the Probation Warrant.

The West Bend Police are now working with police departments across Wisconsin where the man allegedly stole the cars and belongings from.
