Zoran Blagojevic was arrested for his fourth Operating While Intoxicated offense just after 8:00 PM in Milwaukee County.
Blagojevic is 38 years-old and lives in Greenfield.
All of his prior convictions occurred in 2001, two in Illinois and one in Milwaukee County.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a vehicle off the roadway at I-94 the southbound Ryan Road off-ramp. Blagojevic and two passengers were standing outside of the vehicle when deputies arrived. Blagojevic reported that he was driving the vehicle and that he drove off the roadway into the ditch. Blagojevic acknowledged that he was drinking “Jack and Cokes” at one of the passengers house prior to the crash. Blagojevic failed the standard field sobriety test and also tested a .11 on the preliminary breath test.
Both passengers suffered non-life-threatening injuries. One was treated at the scene and released while the other was transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
Blagojevic was subsequently arrested for OWI fourth Causing Injury, which is a Class H felony. If convicted he faces up to 6 years in prison.
