Man Arrested for 9th OWI and allegedly Beating Woman in His Car

A man was arrested for his 9th OWI in Madison after he was seen allegedly yelling at a woman to get into the car and then beating her.

According to Madison Police, a witness observed a man in a car at Olbrich Park yelling at a female to get into the car. 

Once she did so the witness observed Sanders beating on her, pushing her out of the car, and then driving away. 

The victim was not seriously injured. 

When officers went to Sanders' residence they found him sitting in the vehicle.  He was arrested for Domestic Battery, Domestic Disorderly Conduct, and OMVWI (9th Offense), then subsequently booked in Dane County.
