Man arrested for 3rd OWI admits to using heroin at Milwaukee Park and Ride
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 34-year-old Cambellsport man was arrested for his 3rd OWI on Saturday afternoon.
A Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper saw a vehicle driving with two flat tires, continually sideswiping his car against the median wall of I-41 SB just north of the Racine/Milwaukee line.
It happened around 4:11 p.m.
The trooper stopped the vehicle and the driver admitted to using heroin at a Park and Ride in Milwaukee.
The driver also allegedly said he waited to feel the effects of the drug and then started driving to Indiana to a poker tournament.
He is now facing the following charges:
Felony Possession of Heroin
Misdemeanor Operating While Impaired 3rd Offense
Operating After Revocation due to OWI 2nd Offense
Reckless Driving / Endanger Safety
Display Unauthorized Registration Plate
