WAUKESHA, Wis (CBS 58) -- A Waukesha man is accused of driving with a child in the vehicle under the influence.
According to police, Shawn Dalton faces multiple charges after authorities stopped his vehicle early Christmas morning.
Officers say they first saw the car going three miles per hour in a residential neighborhood, soon after, it was going more than 50 miles per hour and swerving in the street.
When authorities stopped the car, an officer found Dalton’s daughter in the front seat. Police say he failed multiple sobriety tests.
