This was a part of Owens Corning Roof Development Project, an initiative that helps veterans all across the country.

We asked Hopper how his home's latest renovation makes him feel.

"It makes me feel like I'm wanted," Hopper said. "Before, I didn't -- felt like I wasn't wanted. I asked them if they knew somebody would do it, and they said they think so, and here we are."

According to their website, Owens Corning Roof Development Project has helped more than 850 veterans across the country since 2016.
