MILWAUKEE - The Brewers red hot bats pounded out seven doubles, and rotation fill-in Mike Fiers threw seven stellar innings as the Brewers took their fifth straight, 6-1 over the Blue Jays Tuesday night at Miller Park.
The Brewers scored twice on three doubles in the first inning and never looked back, ensuring at least a split in the two game set against the Blue Jays.
The series finale is at 1:10 Wednesday afternoon.
