Severe Weather Awareness Week: Storm damage from wind
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Some famous Milwaukee mascots kicked off the 10th annual "Believe" campaign at Macy's in Mayfair Mall.
Now through December 24, believers of all ages can mail a letter to Santa at the big red letterbox at any Macy's store.
For every letter received, the retailer will donate one dollar to Make-A-Wish.
Last year, the organization granted 400 wishes to Wisconsin kids.
"We're budgeted this next year for 412 and so there's a lot that goes into making every single one of those wishes come true and Macy's is a wonderful partner in helping us do that work," said Forrest Doolen from the Make-A-Wish foundation.
Since 2008, The Macy's Believe Campaign has donated more than $15 million to Make-A-Wish.
