Madison man arrested for 9th OWI

MIDDLETON, Wis. (CBS 58) --- A 58-year-old Madison man was arrested for his 9th OWI Saturday, Jan. 9.

Dane County deputies responded to a report of a physical disturbance between a man and woman around 11:55 p.m. in Middleton. 

Upon arrival, Melvis Davis left the area in a car. He was located a short distance away and arrested.

Police say Davis was conveyed to a local hospital where an evidentiary blood draw was obtained through a warrant.

David was booked into the Dane County J ail for OWI - 9th offense, a felony, as well as eluding, operating a motor vehicle without owner's consent, bail jumping, domestic disorderly conduct, domestic battery and a probation violation through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
