Press Release Senior Prom / Spring Fling

On May 29th Luther Haven Retirement Community is hosting it’s first ever Senior Prom! Along with Luther Haven, the event will be sponsored by Prairie Care, LLC and Home Care Assistance of Milwaukee.
The event runs from 4-9pm and includes dancing, raffles, door prizes and fun!
The dinner music will be performed by pianist Alex Lamoureaux and the reception entertainment will be The Steve Meisner Band, both of whom are local favorites and were requested by the residents at Luther Haven.
The dinner will be a seated gourmet meal and they are asking for a $10 fee for non-residents.
All Milwaukeeans 55+ are cordially invited to attend this FUN-TASTIC affair!
Among the many humanitarian stories that have come out of this fun evening is the Mr. __________ who is 87 years young and going to his first Senior Prom since he was not allowed to go as a teenager attending high school. He is escorting his lovely girlfriend of __ years old to the evening of music and celebration!

There is a committee of 10 Luther Haven residents that have created all the invitations and decorations by hand. Even some of the committee who specialize in wood working, have created a beautiful trellis for the Prom Court to walk through!
We have advertised the event locally and to Senior Centers in a 10 miles radius. All the Lutheran Churches in the Metro Milwaukee area have also been invited.

Luther Haven is a lovely retirement community where seniors can age in place. They can feel comfortable and live independently in one of the lovely 1 or 2 bedroom apartments complete with full amenities. When the time comes, residents can move to Luther Haven’s assisted living where they can receive up to 28 hours of nursing care a week. Private care giving is also available for those that wish to stay in their apartments for as long as possible. The motto at this beautiful place is “Where Friends Become Family” and just stepping through their doors, you will feel it to be true!
