Lumberjack Show Is New Attraction At Waukesha County Fair

New this year to the Waukesha County Fair is the Timberworks Lumberjack Show.

Watch as a group of traveling lumberjacks perform tricks like ax throwing, log rolling and chainsaw carving.

"Ax throwing is actually pretty easy," said Dave Weatherhead. "Most of the events we do in the show have all come about from work that the old time lumberjacks did about 100 years ago. Ax throwing wasn't a job, it was a way to pass the time. And it's kind of a fun hobby."

The show is free with admission. Here is a schedule of shows:

Thursday, July 21 | 4:30 & 6 pm

Friday, July 22 | 4:30 & 6 pm

Saturday, July 23 | 2, 4 & 6 pm

Sunday, July 24 | 1, 3 & 5 pm
