Lucroy makes spring debut in 10-5 loss to Cubs

Jonathan Lucroy's spring game debut was brief, as he grounded out to short in his only at-bat in Saturday's 10-5 loss to the Cubs at Maryvale Baseball Park in Phoenix.

Adam Lind homered for the Brewers, his first long ball this spring. Lind was brought over from Toronto in a trade for starter Marco Estrada.

Jimmy Nelson struggled against the Cubs bats, allowing five earned runs in 2 1/3 innings and taking the loss. Chicago scored seven runs in the third inning, but managed just two more tallies for the rest of the game.

Lucroy had been sidelined by a hamstring injury that dated back to the 2014 regular season.
