Lorenzo Cain wins Gold Glove

“Not today.” Two words used by Brewers outfielder, Lorenzo Cain after he makes an amazing grab in the outfield to rob an opposing team of a home run. But today, is that day. After countless snubs Cain is finally a Gold Glove winner.

Cain deemed the best defensive center fielder in the National League. He had been named a finalist three different times, but never received the hardware.

Cain gets the honor after making just two errors in 148 games and was second in the NL with 20 defensive runs saved. He is the first Brewers player to win a Gold Glove since Carlos Gomez won it in 2013.
