Local pizzeria locations chip in to support Milwaukee's fight against hunger 🍕
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- In an effort to combat hunger in Milwaukee, Lou Malnati's Pizzeria is teaming up with Hunger Task Force for a one-day fundraising event.
The pizzeria will donate 20% of its sales to the food bank on Saturday, Sept. 23 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Participating locations include Brookfield at 15795 W. Bluemound Rd., Waukesha at 2720 N. Grandview Blvd., Greenfield at 4751 S. 76th St., Fox Point at 8799 N. Port Washington Rd. and Oak Creek at 8171 S. Howell Ave.
Hunger Task Force serves more than 55,000 Milwaukee County residents each month through a network of food pantries, homeless shelters and specialized programs like the Mobile Market and Senior Stockbox. The fundraiser is part of Lou Malnati's "Kindness Rocks!" Charitable Fundraising Program.
Customers can contribute by using the code GRPRSFUND23 for online orders or mentioning the fundraiser when dining in.
