Local organization needs help getting canned drinking water to Houston

Sussex, WIS. (CBS 58) -- A local organization has generously agreed to donate a few trucks full of water to the Houston area.

Now, they need help getting it there.

CannedWater4Kids is a non-profit charity that works hard to ensure children have access to safe and clean water worldwide.

They have previously donated water to Flint and Haiti.

The organization is now in the process of helping out Houston. They have agreed to donate canned water but are looking for trucks and sponsors to help get the water there.

The water will be delivered to Pastor Kerry Shook and Cameron Welch at Woodlands Church in Houston.

If you're interested in helping out, contact Greg Stomberg with CannedWater4Kids at 414-791-2450  or by email at info@cannedwater4kids.org
