Meet CBS 58’s Pet of the Week: Joey
GLENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- All of the snow falling in Wisconsin is keeping local hardware stores busy, even if people are tired of cleaning it up.
Stores like Village Ace Hardware in Glendale are busy keeping their store shelves stocked with winter gear, as people get ready to clean up another round of snow.
“If I was a kid this would be fantastic, but as an adult it sucks,” Customer Dennis Eksler said. “I'm pretty sick of it for sure, and I'm sure other people are as well.”
The owner of Village Ace Hardware in Glendale said it’s the busiest they’ve been during the Winter in about five years.
“For us, it's been wonderful salt, shovels, snowmelt, I couldn't ask for more. We're busy every day, bringing the product in every day,” Owner Jim Meinecke said.
While customers are bracing for another round of cleanup Wednesday, many are looking forward to saying goodbye to winter.
“Hang in there guys we're in the final stretch of winter,” Customer Tim Manley said.
