MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Many protestors made their way to Red Arrow Park on Sunday, Jan. 26 to protest the inauguration of Donald Trump.
Organized by the Milwaukee Chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America, the event featured numerous speakers and focused on fighting against President Trump's agenda. This is just one of the many protests being held across the country as Trump begins his second term in office.
"We can only win what we are organized to take, and so there's a place for everyone in this movement, and so I would encourage anyone who's watching this, if you are feeling some type of way about how things are going in this country, to know that you're not alone and that there are people ready to fight," Erica Steib, organizer, Party for Socialism and Liberation.
The protest was originally scheduled for inauguration day last Monday but was rescheduled to today due to the frigid temperatures.
