Local events planned to commemorate 9/11 attacks

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee is one of several cities nationwide with public ceremonies planned today to commemorate the 9/11 terror attacks.

It's been 13 years since the deadly attacks, and Gov. Scott Walker will reflect on the somber date during a ceremony at the War Memorial.

The Milwaukee Fire Department will pay tribute by reading the names of 343 firefighters who died in the attacks at 9:06 a.m. -- one minute after the first World Trade Center tower collapsed.

CBS 58's Marshanna Hester has more on local events planned to honor lives lost on September 11, 2001.
